For the adult guiding a child ages 3 to 6

Learning that fits how children actually grow.

Ready when you are

A session takes about 20 minutes. Here's what that looks like.

Daily plan

Open the app. Your day is ready.

Each day's Experience is already laid out — what to do, what you'll need, and about how long it takes. Start in under a minute, with no prep the night before.

Adapts to where your child is today

Every Experience adapts to where your child is that day. Whether they need more support or are ready to go further, the variation is already built in.

Know exactly what to say

Each Experience includes the words — what to ask, how to respond, and what to try if they get stuck. No lesson-planning required.

Learning Journal

Your record builds as you go

Every session adds to your child's Learning Journal — what they explored, what you noticed, how they responded. No separate tracking app needed.

Grounded in how children actually grow

Follows your child's pace

Children don't develop in a straight line. A child who speaks in full sentences may still be working on holding a pencil. Koala Grove adapts across every area of development — so no part of your child is held back or pushed ahead.

Watch the picture build

As you move through each month's Experiences, Koala Grove builds a record of what your child explored and how they responded. Over time, you start to see patterns — what lights them up, where they're growing, and how far they've come.

Support for you, not just your child

Most programs stop at the child. Koala Grove doesn't. Alongside every Experience, you'll find guidance for you — what to notice, what to say, and what to do on the hard days.

Top questions from real parents

Clear answers for everyday worries

I’m not a teacher—can I do this?

Yes. Koala Grove tells you exactly what to say and what to look for — step by step. No lesson planning, no teaching degree required. If you know your child, you have everything you need.

Will my child actually pay attention?

At this age, children learn best through short, hands-on experiences. Each plan is designed to fit a natural attention span — most take 10 to 20 minutes. On harder days, even five minutes counts.

How do I start right away?

Start free — no credit card needed. Core guides and two learning themes are available right away — one to get you started, one to preview your year ahead. When you’re ready, one payment unlocks all 12 monthly themes.

Do I have to subscribe?

No. Core content is always free. To unlock 12 additional monthly themes, you pay once — yours for life, no renewals.

Do I need to choose a teaching philosophy?

No. At ages 3–6, all the best approaches — Montessori, Charlotte Mason, play-based — agree on the same foundation: children learn through play, exploration, and connection. Koala Grove is built on that shared ground. You don’t need to pick a camp before you start.

What if we miss days or fall behind?

You can't fall behind. Koala Grove works at your pace — whether that's three days a week or one Experience at a time. Life happens. The Learning Journey is still there when you return.

Is Koala Grove secular?

Yes. Koala Grove is secular and inclusive — designed for families of all backgrounds. Our approach is grounded in child development, nature, play, and creativity.

Will this prepare my child for school?

Koala Grove builds what matters most: curiosity, language, early number sense, independence, and confidence. These are exactly the foundations children need — whether they continue learning at home or transition to a traditional school.

About Koala Grove

We’re a husband and wife based in Seattle — and we didn’t plan to homeschool.

When a health challenge in our family made traditional schooling complicated, we found ourselves at home, responsible for the early years of our child’s education — and quickly realized how hard it was to find something that actually worked.

Not a philosophy to figure out. Not a complicated curriculum to manage. Just a clear, practical framework we could actually use on a Tuesday morning.

We had one instinct in common: if the tool you need doesn’t exist, you build it.

So we did.

Koala Grove is what we built — a complete, structured system designed to remove the daily friction of “what should we do today?”

It’s for parents like us — capable, attentive, and navigating something we didn’t necessarily plan for, but choosing to do well.

Because what matters most isn’t perfection.

It’s having something you can trust, and showing up consistently for your child.

That’s what our child deserves. And yours does too.
